The Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department is made up of about ninety volunteers - a unique mix of local residents and students from all walks of life.
STVFD is the busiest fire station in Albemarle County. We responded to over 2,400 incidents last year, including fires, motor vehicles accidents, and medical emergencies.

On 27 August, firefighters from STVFD had the opportunity to fight live fire in a building scheduled for demolition. Station 8 crews joined firefighters from all over the county to practice fire attack techniques in a realistic training setting.
