Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department will be opening its doors from 10 AM to 1PM this Saturday (8/31) for our annual Open House. The station is located at 3055 Berkmar Dr. We will be providing you with a tour of the firehouse and a glimpse into the daily life of a volunteer firefighter. You will be able to go 100′ in the air in our ladder truck, flow water from fire hoses, and learn about firefighting gear and tools such as the Jaws of Life. We will also walk you through the membership process and will be happy to answer questions you might have about firefighting, training, or school/work/life balance. A pizza lunch will also be provided.
Please RSVP by this Thursday (8/29) via this form.
If you need a ride or have dietary restrictions, please indicate this on the form. We will be arranging carpools at O’Hill Dining Hall, the Stadium parking lot, and the Chapel for those who need a ride.
STVFD is a working fire station. Please act accordingly and wear appropriate attire. Long pants (jeans are allowed) and close toed shoes are highly recommended as you will be moving around.
If you have any questions or if you are unable to make the Open House, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have questions on the day of the event, please call (434)973-1717.
Thank you and we are so excited to see you this Saturday!
