Congratulations Class of 2009!

The University of Virginia's 180th Final Exercises were conducted on Sunday, May 17th and we would like to congratulate all of our members (past and present) who graduated in the Class of 2009! Here is what they plan on doing next:
- Scott "Big L" Lambert (Batallion Chief, ACFR Training Division) graduated with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Business. He plans to maintain his job as a Training Officer for ACFR and continue to use the skills that UVA has bestowed to coordinate emergency services education in the region.
- Chase Corvin (Lieutenant, B Crew) graduated with a BA in Economics and plans to take the MCAT's and apply to medial school in the next year or two. In the meantime, he will be residing in Charlottesville and working in the UVA Emergency Department.
- Eleanor Kirk (FF/EMT, C Crew) graduated with a BS in Psychology and will be taking EMT-Paramedic class this Fall. She plans on staying in Charlottesville and working as a medic in the area.
- Kyle Willstatter (FF, B Crew) graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He was commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy and will be attending Nuclear Power School in Charleston, SC as training to become a submarine officer.
- Siri Khalsa (EMT, B Crew) graduated with a BS in Physics and a BA in Math. He is doing research with the solar power group at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM and plans to apply to medical school next year.
