STVFD sends its most sincere congratulations and best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Danny Tawney on their recent marriage in Honolulu, Hawaii. Battalion Chief Danny Tawney and Sr. FF Jordan Tawney (formerly Jordan Brown) traveled to Hawaii during the last week of February and were married, oceanside, on February 27th. The couple met at STVFD 7 years ago and almost immediately began a friendship that eventually blossomed into a romance and an engagement last Winter. After the wedding Danny and Jordan enjoyed relaxing in Honolulu and took in a Jimmy Buffett concert before returning to Virginia, their dog Pierce, the station, a little bit of remaining snow, and reality. Both Danny and Jordan are active members of the Seminole Trail family.
