MVC Head-on with entrapment

STVFD and CARS units were dispatched to a 2 vehicle MVC on Seminole Trail at Premier Circle. Engine 81 arrived to find two vehicles involved in a head-on collision and confirmed entrapment in one of the two vehicles. Engine 85 was dispatched and arrived moments later. STVFD crews began patient assessment and care, as well as vehicle stabilization and extrication of the entrapped occupant. Three CARS ambulances eventually responded to transport 3 individuals to the hospital. STVFD and CARS personnel worked efficiently together resulting in all patients being packaged and enroute to the UVA ED within 20 minutes.
